Mevak ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Quantana Pty Ltd (ABN pending), based in Australia. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at mevak.in and any related services.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and workspace details.
Meeting Transcripts: When you paste or upload meeting transcripts, we process this content to extract deal information, contacts, actions, and insights. Transcripts are stored securely and associated with your workspace.
Deal & CRM Data: Information you create or that our AI extracts, including deal details, contact profiles, action items, MEDDIC mappings, and notes.
Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with Mevak, including pages visited, features used, and device/browser information.
Calendar Data: If you connect Google Calendar, we access your calendar events to provide pre-meeting briefs and agenda features. We only read event metadata (title, time, attendees) — we do not read event descriptions or attachments.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Mevak platform
- To process meeting transcripts using AI and extract deal intelligence
- To generate health signals, action items, and deal recommendations
- To send daily briefing digests and notifications you opt into
- To improve our AI models and platform features
- To communicate with you about your account and product updates
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse
3. AI Processing
Mevak uses third-party AI services (including OpenAI and Anthropic) to process meeting transcripts and generate deal intelligence. When we send data to these providers, we do so under their enterprise/API terms which prohibit them from using your data to train their models. Your transcript content is sent only for the purpose of generating your results and is not retained by these providers beyond the processing window.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:
- AI Processing Partners: As described above, transcript content is sent to AI providers for processing
- Infrastructure Providers: We use cloud hosting (server infrastructure) to store and serve your data
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), secure authentication (OTP-based), and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You can delete individual deals, contacts, and actions at any time. If you wish to delete your entire account and associated data, contact us at hello@quantana.com.au.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Mevak is a B2B sales tool and is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
